The Problem

Mindful Moments Kids Yoga provides warm, playful yoga classes for children and families in Bath and the surrounding area.

The business already had an established visual identity through social media, including its logo, imagery and colour palette.

What it did not have was a dedicated website where parents could reliably find current classes without relying on social media posts.

The immediate priority was not a large or fully developed website. It was to establish a useful online presence quickly and give printed material, social posts, emails and word of mouth somewhere permanent to direct people.

The Challenge

Create a useful website quickly while the client was busy running the business and the final content was still being developed.

Translate an existing social media identity into a responsive website without unnecessarily reinventing the brand.

Provide a simple way to publish and maintain different classes and events without requiring ongoing developer input.

Avoid over-investing in SEO and content optimisation before the client had time to finalise the wording and structure of each section.

“From social media presence to a practical home for classes in a single morning.”

What we built

We treated the project as a focused first release, using the existing brand as the starting point and concentrating on getting something useful live quickly rather than delaying launch in pursuit of a finished website.

  • Built the website rapidly using Lovable, with the initial working version produced in a morning.
  • Implemented TanStack server-side rendering to provide a modern, performant frontend foundation.
  • Created a secure administration area with authenticated access.
  • Built class and event management tools so the owner can add, update and organise activities without editing the website itself.
  • Created responsive layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Structured the platform so SEO, GEO and further content optimisation can be added once the final copy and longer-term requirements are agreed.

Outcome

The first release gives Mindful Moments Kids Yoga an independent online presence that can immediately support its existing marketing and make classes easier for families to find.

  • Provides a permanent destination for traffic from social media, posters, printed material, email and word of mouth.
  • Makes current classes and sessions easier to find outside social media platforms.
  • Gives the owner a secure way to manage classes and events directly.
  • Establishes a modern technical foundation that can be expanded and optimised rather than replaced as the business grows.

What This Included

  • Used the existing logo, photography, colours and social media presence as the basis for the visual direction.
  • Designed a bright, colourful interface that reflects the playful and nurturing nature of the classes.
  • Focused the initial experience around helping parents understand what is available, find a suitable class and make contact.
  • Kept the first release deliberately focused so content, SEO and additional functionality can be refined as the business develops.

Reflection

This project demonstrates where rapid development is genuinely useful. The client did not need months of strategy before going online. She needed a credible, useful place where parents could find her classes.
